Kapathu house hunt!

Today we had one more nice hang out at our saviours place- Kapathu’s house. Today the star of the day is her mom who has joined the elite panel of “SUPER SAAPADU” along with my mom and cyber mom. As kapathu had driving class she told to come after 12. So I started from home by 11. I got into the usual 5A bus and as usual sidharth picked me up near the subway and we both reached her house by 12.15. We had some vetti talks going on as I was copying the films which I took there for kapathu. By half an hour we were joined by the gang containing members, Samba, satish, vijay, raja, ragavendran and ramanujam. We had two rounds of masal vadais as the preliminary round of our meal.

Then by 2 we sat to have our meal. The THALAI VAAZHAI ILAI SAAPADU with the following menu- Mysore paku, palkova, paruppu usili, urulai kari, kadamba sambar, thakkali rasam, thayir and appalam.

Then we all settled down in the sofa and had a nice hearing to the songs in kapathus music system starting from old songs till billa. As a matter of fact we moved to the computer room. There we had a nice burst out laughter session talking about the cool happenings and interesting facts on sadesh. In meanwhile we were talking about blog but kapathu understood nothing and so we changed the topic and so we had all the topics that we could talk on and the session went on with ultimate fun. Then we had one more round of horlicks and coffee. Then by 6 we all started from there to their respective places. On the whole, the day was a filling one for both the belly and mind. Nice to have such sessions often and looking forward for many more such get togethers in this semester as this is our last sem to make all these done!

SANKARA TERRORS!!

Here comes the list of terror actions done by us in our school days.

Eleventh standard:

  1. We used to keep the sundal which we get as prasadham under bala so that it smashes and sticks to bench as a paste.
  2. We sprinkled ink on each other and I went with ink in all parts of my face and shirt out of the computer class without permission to wash it off.
  3. Vijay and visu kept a sharp pencil just before I was to sit. It went deep so that tears came out of my eyes.
  4. I went out for the consecutive third time in maths period for saying that rajaganapathy has lost his bag.
  5. I holded dinesh in his neck and lifted him so that he was suffocating. It was my reaction to his severe blows on me with the bench.
  6. Hari dragged sesha in the floor and pushed him on to the steel bench for sesha beating hari with chalk piece.
  7. Sri ganesh ran inside the class as he feared that mam would have heard him scolding her.
  8. V.N.Vinodh took my pen and wrote some stupid stuff in bharath’s shirt which made him to go till vice principal.
  9. Krishna kumar and dinesh got caught red handed for scolding Michael Jackson and rajinikant respectively using family bad words.
  10. The entire class stood for an hour for not doing the so called silent prayer during maths period.
  11. Chemistry mam* asked me to be polite against the lab assistant because that day morning I scolded the lab assistant thinking that it was some other friend beating me from backside.

Please add on if you can remember any more.

Twelfth Standard:

There are lots of galattas of us in twelfth standard. I will just post whatever I can remember.

  1. The entire class went out for not putting English class work notebook except very few in the class.
  2. We narrowly escaped the sudden raid on the day of India Australia match when we brought radios and cell phones to school.
  3. Sesha and I was caught during English period when mam was teaching “ode on Grecian urn” for which I samalichufied saying I was talking about ancient sculptures of madambakkam temple nearby.
  4. Sriganesh was caught by mam as a reaction to haris complaint that sriganesh was trying to copy from him during exam.
  5. Chemistry mam told rajaganapathy that his way of looking at her doesn’t look nice. It was actually his looks with half sleepy eyes.
  6. V.N.Vinodh, sriganesh and myself were caught for copying from a bit for which we went till principal and escaped with no punishment for us but with a -5 for sriganesh
  7. In the same bit incident, sriganesh made chemistry mam to cry by tearing off the bit which she collected from us so that she kept on seaching.
  8. Ramakrishna siva asked our chemistry mam the actual use of urinary antiseptic and where it is used. Mam remarked just to study for the sake of two marks
  9. V.N.Vinodh did all drama which he can do for not allowing chemistry mam to take classes on the last day.
  10. Hari haran broke bharaths nose for bharath calling hari with family names and the ultimate comedy is that when we went to the doctor in our school he kept a thermometer in bharaths mouth and said that temperature was normal. Later only he saw the bleeding and gave medicine.
  11. Saravanan of 12c went to the doctor as he fell down when playing. When the doctor said that he will put an injection he said the doctor to just make the bleeding stop and that he will put injection in a good doctors clinic. The doctor went to peak tension!
  12. Hari said that his parents would kill him when maths mam said to bring a letter from his parents for not putting the class work and failing in unit test
  13. Sriganesh shouted in the middle of the class to mam saying that “hari is calling me with family names”.
  14. Vijay Krishnan got caught red handed when he was laughing hiding back bala. Mam saw it from an angle and told vijay and co to go out.
  15. Vijay Krishnan got caught in a small matter for which he hid himself under the bench
  16. Sesha called Deepak with the name “NIRMI” by kalasing him with a girl of next class so deeply that our computer science mam asked Deepak has he changed his name.

Please add the ones which I left out.

  • - IT was chemistry mam who experienced most of the terrors. Some cannot be put here as the censor board will cut those. We were so terror that she cried aloud to Deepak during the closing days saying always she is the Bali aadu. It was me, vinodh.v.n and sriganesh who were in the hit list. Mam willnot take the lessons unless we three come to the first bench.
  • Sweet memories! You too can post some of your sweet school memories.

SSV- The beginning of terror!!

It was SSV which turned me to what I’m now. It was the first day in Sri Sankara Vidyalaya(SSV). I was sitting in the last bench and oolai(rajesh) came and told me to go and sit in front. I refused for which he scolded me in a bad word and immediately I went and complained to our class teacher. She laughed and said that those were common and not to complain such things. The ultimate comedy was I got caught for speaking bad words the next week. It was the same teacher and she couldn’t control her laughter and so I escaped!
During the eight standard, Shafeeq was my best friend. The very first year at SSV was full of KALAIs and when we were standing in the assembly, one of my classmates pointed to a boy in the next row and said his name was S.Sriram and not to talk to him as he will use ultimate abuse language. Ha ha… Time does the work. Today Sriram is one of my closest friends and the boy who told me so is not found in the city today.
The tradition of Sitadevi continued in SSV where I had friends from all classes and the I.V which we went to Pondichery brought us closer.
It was in the ninth standard where actually I remember nothing other than the stupid magic show which we went. It was a year where nothing specific happened. Anybody please add up nice incidents of ninth standard.
Here comes the terror sprouting out. Tenth standard! It was me, seshadri and r.s.arun who were sitting in the bench behind the last bench of girls. We will have chalkpiece wars and fulltime enjoyment in kalasifying our English madam, Mrs. Saroja Seshadri. Once she told sesha, “Mr.Seshadri, please go out of the class” for which he replied “ok,mrs.seshadri”. She got stunned and told him to sit. The F***ing girls of first bench started a story that last bench boys(i.e ourselves) and last bench girls are in love with eachother. Sesha scolded with all the bad words possible. And I did a master plan to cut the telephone line of the girl who started such a rumour. I made her to ask sorry and then after a long time of four months I made her telephone line to work. Thanks to my fathers colleague in Chennai telephones.
We completed our tenth standard with complete kalais and we stepped into our eleventh. This was the greatest terror of all times I have witnessed so far. The class strength plays a major role here. There were 38 boys and 10 girls. I joined the company of great members like V.N.Vinodh, Visweswaran, Sundar, Praveen*, krishnakumar*, Sri ganesh, Pambist(sriram), vijay Krishnan, S.Sriram, balakrishnan, narayanan, shankar, srivatsan, dinesh and so on. The * ed members remained silent and were padips. The remaining members somehow contributed to the terror in the class. Bala was the frequent target of us under whom we will keep the sundal given during birthday of sankarachariyar.
Our frequent targets were our beloved chemistry teacher, Ms. Latha and our maths teacher Ms.Rajeshwari a.k.a akka balli(sister lizard). Ms. Latha experienced the toughest time in her life with our batch for two years that she cried at the end of twelth standard. As there are lots of incidents in our school days which can be mentioned on and on, I will post all mischievous activities as a separate post! The next one!

Next phase of my life!!

Friends are the real supporters in our course of life. I am gifted with great friends right from my birth. From my birth till my kinter garden classes, my sister was my only friend. As far as I remember I never went out to play with the kids next door or so. I always stayed indoor playing with my loving and caring mom and sister and I still remember the small games which we used to play. My sister is seven years older than me but she will accompany me like a kid. Once when I slipped from the from the first floor and rolled down the steps at my age of three, my sister hugged me and puffed the bleedings with her cloth and I still have the snap in my mind of my sister crying like anything. She is the right example for the tirukkural,

My father is a strict person and never allowed the small basic privileges of a child. It was my sister who along with my mom will buy cardboards and golden papers and do sangu, chakram and put raja vesham for me to make me happy when I was in depress. Till date, my sister remains as my best friend ever and she is role model for me in many things when it comes to the outside world. She is courageous, foolish at many times but is a girl with the determination to complete a task if taken no matter how tough it is.

Then when I entered the school, my first best friend was prasanna who wept when I told I’m going to leave the school during first standard. It was in Vivekananda vidyalaya where I did my kinter garden classes and first standard. It was a surprise for me when I met him in eleventh standard joining my school. But we didn’t have many conversations as he had his own circle around and I had mine. But still we remain good friends and he is my first ever friend!

Then I joined sitadevi garodia school which is located in east tambaram. I can mention all the names of those who studied in that school as my friends because I had all good people around me. Seniors, juniors and friends from all sections of my year were good friends to me! But there will always be a gang formed which will remain closer and it was also there for me. Sudarshan, ajay venkatesh, P.T.B. Chandrasekar and myself were one gang which was involved in all kalai activities. P.t.b and myself got caught in a case for kalasifying drawing sir. It was ajay who gave me company in the biggest encounter of mine so far to meet the school’s principal for using bad words to scold “a music girl”. Actually we don’t knew the meaning and we just used it as it is! ARIYADHA VAYASU! It was the end of seventh standard and end of sitadevi school for me! I cried aloud to get my request of studying in the same school done. But it was of no use. Though it is eight years down the lane, I still have good contacts with my friends of that school. Thanks to the locality factor too!

I got into SRI SANKARA VIDYALAYA!!.... The terror begins…to be continued!
